Diablo 4: How to Diablo 4 Items Get Resplendent Sparks

Resplendent Sparks are one of the rarest and most sought-after resources in Diablo 4, allowing players to craft Mythic Uniques- formerly known as Uber Uniques. These top-tier items can dramatically enhance your build, but getting your hands on the sparks required to forge them is no easy feat.

As of Season 8: Belial's Return, Blizzard has overhauled how Resplendent Sparks work, changing both how many you need and where you can earn them. Here's everything you need to know to track them down and make the most of your crafting opportunities.

What Are Resplendent Sparks?

Resplendent Sparks are used to craft Mythic Uniques, the most powerful gear in the game. Previously, you needed four sparks to make one Mythic Unique, but Blizzard has since reduced the crafting cost to just two sparks, making them slightly more accessible, though still rare.

You should only dismantle Mythic Uniques for Sparks if you have duplicates, as these items are extremely rare and valuable. Once salvaged, you'll receive one Resplendent Spark per Mythic Unique.

All Ways to Get Resplendent Sparks in Season 8

There are currently four main ways to obtain Resplendent Sparks in Diablo 4:

1. Unveiler's Oath Reputation (Tier 18)
Reach tier 18 on the Unveiler's Oath seasonal reputation board and claim the Resplendent Cache. This cache contains one Resplendent Spark.

2. Complete the Destroyer Tier in the Season Journey
Finishing all challenges in the Destroyer tier of the Season Journey rewards you with one Spark.

3. Defeat Echo of Lilith (Torment Difficulty)
Beat Echo of Lilith for the first time on Torment difficulty to earn one Spark.

4. Salvage Mythic Uniques
Take any Mythic Unique to the blacksmith and salvage it to gain one Resplendent Spark.

Note: You can no longer get Sparks from defeating Tormented bosses or cheap Diablo 4 materials repeating reputation tracks across multiple characters, which was possible in earlier seasons.
